After completing my undergraduate studies, I worked full-time at the Marymount University Library as a Circulation Technician while studying part-time for my Masters Degree in Education. In time I was promoted and began working as a Reference Assistant. It was while working in reference that I discovered my passion for research. I completed the Education graduate program but never pursued an education career. Instead, I began studying for the Masters in Library Science degree at the Catholic University of America while working in the Acquisitions Department and Reference Desk of the Daughters of the American Revolution Library. After graduating from Catholic University, I moved to Boston where I was the Law Librarian at Pepe & Hazard LLP. I moved to New York to gain the experience and knowledge than can only come from working in the fast-paced environment of a Manhattan law firm. During my tenure in New York, I have worked for two international law firms, and become heavily involved in the Law Library Association of Greater New York.
