Biography:   Nomer holds a degree in Law from Istanbul University. He began his career at Milli Reasürans T.A.Ş., serving in various capacities at the company and also pursued professional studies in Switzerland and the UK. In 1994-1996 he served as a member of CEA (Comité Européen des Assurances) Presidential Council, and between 1981 and 2005 he served as Vice Chairman and then Chairman of the Association of the Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Turkey for nearly a quarter of a century altogether. Appointed as the General Manager on 21 January 1981 and Nomer worked as General Manager for ceaseless 28 years. He has published two compilation works “General Principles of Insurance” and “Reinsurance”; and two translations “Loss of Profits Insurance” and “Contractors all Risks Insurance (CAR)”. Nomer from January 16 2009, serves as the Executive Vice Chairman of the company.
